Dori Palima graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the Philippine Women's University in Manila Philippines, and earned her Masters Degree in Education at Manila Central University. She was then a Professor in Nursing at Manila Central University, Martinez Memorial Hospital - School of Nursing, and at Andrews Memorial Hospital - School of Nursing at Kingston Jamaica. She also proved to be a pillar in Community Health Nursing Education in Manila Philippines. She was also outstanding in the field of Real Estate in the Philippines and in Pre-need plans. In fact Dori was also a graduate of Chinese Geomancy "Feng Shui" of Charlie Chao's Chinese Geomancy Course.

In the mainland, she was an Assistant Administrator in one of the Convalescent Home for the Aged in Baltimore, Maryland. A shift in career made her earn Lancôme's Presidential award in Sales in Maryland, competing against other counties in Maryland and Washington D.C. Guam made her successful in Cosmetics sales, being involved with Lancôme, Chanel, Cambon and Estee Lauder Co. (including Clinique and Aramis) and was the Marianas Account Executive, handling the Navy Exchange Estee Lauder Co. Dori ventured into Real Estate in year 1998 and one of her accomplishments was when she acted as the canvassing agent for California Mart in GPO.

Dori was also nominated for First Hawaiian Bank's Ginefli'e I Tano Awards for Realtor's Choice Award & Island Homes People's Choice Award for the year of 2007 & 2008. Dori would always be interested in helping and assisting people, and Real Estate made her realize this dream.
